Is there easy upgrade instructions for 7c to 7e. I tried yesterday and it did not go very well. I replaced the files in the html folder with the uncompressed versioni of cacti and PA then copied the include folder back from the original. when logged in my display still shows 7c. Also, does spine need to upgraded if going from 7c to 7e?

Also, can cacti be configured to forward information to another cacti server? I was thinking of having local cacti servers at different locations send all their info to central server so from the one server I can see all the sites status, but if going to each individual site location I can see the local cacti server. I was thinking of doing this versus having the central server poll all the remote sites so I would not have to open up a lot of holes in the firewall.

That will definitely break your cacti install. Only copy the include/config.php from the original install.

I would certainly update spine, as an upgrade I did the other day was causing POPEN errors without the latest spine.

I was wondering the same thing. I realy love the simplicity of cactiez and a version for 0.8.7e or even g when it comes out on the 7th would be nice.
