Post Thold log entries
Hi. Im using Thold 0.2.5 from this site on a cacti 0.8.6f system. I need to use logs instead of emails. However I knoticed that all I ever see is the following type of log entry "thold-type returned to normal" . This occurs on the intial trigger the continuing trigger and the actual return to normal...

What is needed, if anyone can assist, is different messages depending on what is going on. I.E. thold-type exceeded limmit for initial and continuing triggers and then a return to normal.

I have dropped a post over at cacti.net but have not seen any reply, so sorry in advance if someone is already addressing this.

thanks in advance

I believe I now have the issue solved where everything appears to be "restored to normal". I will have to look into adding for continuing triggers though, but that should be fairly easy also.

If you could re-download the Thold plugin and use the new "check-thold.php" file (its the only file that changed).

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the quick reply. The fix almost worked. Now I get the right log entries but, maybe I screwed something up. Now I get the same log entry no matter what triggers. Ive set up a couple of triggers to test with. They all come back with the info for the first trigger in the list displyed on the thresholds tab. Another issue is that although I get an alert via syslog the triggered does not change color or status on the web page.

thanks again for the quick response..
