Post easy way to split out thold alarms for different devices?
first off, I like the improvements in the new told over version 2.1. I'm planning on putting hundreds of devices into cacti at some point and using thold to send out notifications. what I haven't been able to find a way to do easily, is set different e-mail destinations for different sets of devices. in a similar category would be the ability to set the threshold differently for a large number of boxes.

in other words, if I have 50 boxes that are managed by one person and need CPU set to 75% and 25 boxes for someone else with a CPU threshold of 95%, how can this be done? I tried to create different threshold templates for the same data source (one with a different threshold and e-mail from the other) and it said that one already exists. my other thought is to write a script to change those fields in the database, but before I do that I was curious if there was already a way to do this.
thanks much!

The only real way to do it at this point, is to create the data template how you need it for the first set of boxes. Then setup all the boxes that need that info. Then just change the template to the new info, and proceed with the other boxes. When you change the template, it does not affect the already created thresholds.
