Post Threshold stopped working, no value in current threshold
Threshold was working great.
I had:
- A new install of Cacti 0.8.6g
- Installed Plugin Architecture right away
- Installed Threshold, Monitor and Report Plugin
I added three hosts with "UNIX Ping" threshold alarms and life was good!
Pings went over 150ms and I got Threshold alarms.

Then I moved the Cacti server to it's new home.
The server was given a new IP address and Thresholds still worked great.

I decided to add the newly updated "Advanced PING" addon.
I realized my PHP was missing "socket_create()" ability.

I recompiled and re-installed PHP:
cd /usr/src/php-5.0.5
make clean
./configure --with-apxs2=/opt/apache/bin/apxs --with-mysql=/opt/mysql --with-openssl=/usr/local/ssl --with-mssql=/usr/local --with-zlib-dir=/usr/local/lib --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/lib --with-freetype-dir=/usr/local/lib --enable-exif --with-png-dir=/usr/local/lib --enable-calendar --enable-ftp --with-libxml-dir=/usr/local/lib --with-snmp=/opt/net-snmp/ --enable-fastcgi --enable-magic-quotes --enable-mbstring --enable-sockets
make install

Now the new "Advanced PING" was working.
I added a few hosts and admired "Advanced PING" - life still good.

I went back to adding remote hosts to Cacti.
I added a standard "UNIX Ping" Threshold set for 150ms.
15 minutes later, I looked at the Threshold tab.
My original 3 hosts had values in the current status field.
My newly created host was blank for "Current"
I checked the graph, it was getting data.
In fact all hosts were still graphing data.
ONLY the original 3 hosts had a value in the "Current" field.
I deleted and re-created, but still no data.
I deleted my original three hosts.
I re-added one.
No data for anything in the "Current" field.

So, my next thought, can I check via the command line?
I did this:
/usr/local/bin/php /opt/apache/htdocs/cacti/plugins/thold/check-thold.php
10/29/2005 08:20:51 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] Checking Thresholds

Not really much info via the command line.

So I deleted the thold tables from the database.
I added a new Threshold and and my thold tables came back.
Still no data in the "Current" field.

Not really sure what to do next.
Any thoughts? :?

Update:
Very confused.
I woke up this morning and I now have values in the "Current" field.
Very disturbing.
Oh, well, it would still be nice to have some debug ability to see how the Current field gets it's values.

I was able to fix one problem I had by redownloading the lastest thold.tar.gz from this site.

I will try the "weekend" exemption bug if I can this weekend to see if this issue was fixed as well.
