Post New v0.2.6 Thold command line option issue
I do not have "weekend exemtions" ON, but I do get this:

/usr/local/bin/php /opt/apache/htdocs/cacti/plugins/thold/check-thold.php /show
11/05/2005 04:32:39 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] Checking Thresholds
weekend exemption is on

and

/usr/local/bin/php /opt/apache/htdocs/cacti/plugins/thold/check-thold.php /debug
11/05/2005 04:37:17 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] Checking Thresholds
weekend exemption is on

I went to the web interface and toggled weekend reporting ON and OFF - no difference.

My Thresholds still function, just FYI the command line switches don't seem quite right yet.
I will try it again on Monday!

Oops, I had fixed that in my local copy on my test server, but didn't push the change to offical release. I have now updated it. Thanks for finding it so quickly!!

Still not quite right.
I installed the updated thold, then:

The file /opt/apache/htdocs/cacti/log/thold.log is not writable

So I created a writable file that it complained about:
touch /opt/apache/htdocs/cacti/log/thold.log
chmod 666 /opt/apache/htdocs/cacti/log/thold.log

Then I tried again:
/usr/local/bin/php /opt/apache/htdocs/cacti/plugins/thold/check-thold.php /show

This is normal when the file is not writable by the webserver. I could possibly move the log file to the plugin directory and ship it with it to make it go away. I will have to ponder that idea though, since logs are what the log directory are for.

This error seems to rearing it ugly head again. Before it was caused by rrdtool returning data with a line break, which when we them combined that data into another command, caused the rest of the command to executed as a seperate command. I thought I had fixed this in the last version in thold-functions.php.

I have now applied the fix in a few more places (in some cases with a double redundacy) to see if it helps. Care to download it again and override your thold-functions.php?

Thanks!

hmm, still bugs, during the week, /show just gives errors.

I just added some new thresholds during the weekend, I am not getting "Current" data, just get an empty field.

I tried:
/usr/local/bin/php /opt/apache/htdocs/cacti/plugins/thold/check-thold.php /show
11/12/2005 04:48:47 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] Checking Thresholds
weekend exemption is on

but weekend exemption is not on.

ideas?

I redownloaded the latest thold.tar.gz from this site and life is good.

I can now test via the command line:

/usr/local/bin/php /opt/apache/htdocs/cacti/plugins/thold/check-thold.php /show

Thank you!
:)
