email issue?

email issue?

kingaru	email issue? After upgrade to 2.6 I noticed that no email alerts anymore .... even "send test mail" does not work anymore ... even to the local to the server users ... I've tried all methods ... no luck ... (I've used php one before and it worked fine) .... Igor

Guest	e-mail Hi, I had the e-mail problem and only thing I could find out was that I need to select the snmp server (ip address) from the same isp that was providing my internet connection. I belive some isps does not allow mail from other ip adresses than what they are issuing because of e-mail realy issue. Also I set up follwing to php.ini. I am running Windows Server 2003 std SP1 [mail function] ; For Win32 only. SMTP = 194.100.2.120 smtp_port = 25 ; For Win32 only. sendmail_from = Cacti@gmail.com

kingaru	The issue can be closed .... sorry ... troubles were caused by some troubles with the postfix .... notification workks just fine ... shame on me Igor
