 Monitor Plugin Tab Missing
I've just installed Plugin Arch. prepatched files-0.8.6f and Monitor-0.4 plugin following howto's intructions for installing them but the monitor tab isn't showing up so i can't see anything. All files are owned by cacti user and are all readable. ¿Can anybody gime some hints?
Thanks.

 Monitor Plugin Tab Missing
I'd forgotten to activate User Management->Realm Permissions->View Monitoring. Now monitor Tab is showing up.
¿Could this last installing step be added to the Howto doc?
Thanks to cacti developers for their fantastic work!

I have now modifed the monitor plugin to automatically give the "admin" account access to the plugin when it first makes its database changes.

Hello!
I have this problem too.
I have installed:
1.Cacti 0.8.6h
2.Cacti arch plugin for 0.8.6h ( used http://cactiusers.org/wiki/PluginArchitectureInstall)
3.Monitor plugin( used http://cactiusers.org/wiki/PluginsInstall and
http://cactiusers.org/wiki/MonitorDocs)
But there is no monitor tab at the top of cacti page.
And there is no User Management->Realm Permissions->View Monitoring
at User management Tab.
Please, show where is troble?
Thanks.

I have the same problem, my tabs for my plugins aren't been showed.
I install the cacti in my Ubuntu. I use apt-get install cacti to install all dependencies, after I remove the cacti (dpkg -r cacti), download the newest version of Cacti in cacti.net, extract to my web folder.
I change the permission of cacti folder, to root, to www-data and nothing.
I put the plugins files in cacti/plugins/, change the config.php. I my config.php didn't have the $plugins = array(); line. I put in my own hands, and the plugins after.
What I have to do? What kind of permissions this folder need?
Thanks any answer,
Vinicius
