For example, say I have 3 devices behind each other:
router 1
-router 2
--router 3
It would be great if router 1 became unavailable that it would include in it's notification the list of devices behind it, ie routers 2 and 3: the ones that depend on it to communicate with the cacti server.
Otherwise, if the 'root' device fails, multiple, and in some cases, possibly MANY MANY notifications and such will be sent out.

I've playing with the idea of creating "sites" for some time now, and don't think it would really be that hard to do. You would have to specify which device is the border router for a site though, so that only notications about it would go out if it goes down.
Expect this in future versions, but probably not too quickly as I have tons of things to do.
