Post Inverted graphing below the x-axis
Yes ... it's me again. :P

I'm afraid that I'm once again stuck on another problem.

I've got cacti monitoring my modem traffic without any dramas, but I'd like to make the outbound traffic inverted so that it graphs below the x-axis, similar to what's being done with this graph.

I've tried a couple of things which I found through Google, but as usual I just cant seem to get everything to click.

So ... here I am once again, asking for your help. :P

Much appreciated.

2 things would have to be done. First a script will have to be written to duplicate the normal "SNMP - Interface Statistics" data query. Easy enough to do, I think I have one somewhere. The outbound traffic will just have to be reported as negative for it to work.

Then a new data query, data template, and graph template will need to be created to work with the script.

If I find time this weekend I can probably whip this up for you and export it.

Thanks for the offer jimmy.

However, I've just had a "moment of clarity", and everything has suddenly clicked into place.

It was one of those *slap yourself on the forehead* moments when you suddenly realise that you've been doing the simplest thing wrong all this time.

So ... I'm glad to say that right now everything is working as it should!

I'm sure that I'll be back again once I have my next problem though! :P :)

Thanks.
