Hello,

I got the latest version of cacti (0.8.6f) working on a W2K3 server in VMWare ESX 2.5

OS: W2K3
Apache: 2.0.54
PHP: 5.0.5
MySQL: 4.1.14
Poller: CMD.exe

Everything is working as it should. I get graphs and the plugins "monitor"and "report" are working. The only thing that does not seem to be working 100% is "thold"

The first problem is that it does not create any log files. The webserver does have permissions to write the file. There is just nothing there. Also the /debug option on the command line does not show any additional info. (see image2 - thold2.png).

The second thing I see is that the "current" value does not show anything. Also "last poll" is empty. (see image1 - thold1.png)

Image3 - thold3.png shows part of the cacti log output.

Also, when I look at the datasource and select the template name, I get an error at the top of the page. (See image4 - thold4.png)

Any help is much appreciated!

I just got it working....

- I dropped the thold tables from the database
- Removed the thold folder from the plugins folder
- Drank some coffee
- Added the thold folder to the plugins folder
- Configured a treshold
- waited for the poller to start....

..... and it works! I even got an e-mail
