Hi,

In cacti, there is Graph Permission tab under user management. So, you

can restrict users to view only specific graphs. So for all plugins like

monitor,thold,reports or futire plugins, is it possible to restrcit users to

view only particular hosts under different plugins?

If it happens then it would be brilliant.

There isn't at this time, but I am sure that it can easily be done in the future. It will require an extra hook in the plugin architecture, but nothing major. Once I get some free time, I will work on it.

I do know that the Cacti Developers are working a better system for v0.9 which includes groups, etc... so it might be in our best interest to wait a bit.

I will definitely work on it, its just a matter of how fast it can get done with everything else I am also working on.

The Witness has already created a nice add-on which I have converted to a plugin for him (mac tracking). I am sure he will continue to work on it in the future. But what I meant was that this would be very simple to only allow access to specifc hosts once they release v0.9 since it will have the ability to create groups, and then we could allow access to hosts depending on what group the user is in. I will see what I can do in the meantime though.

We are going to launch cacti product for our customers. Everything is ready except restrict hosts under monitor tab for specific clients. Did you get time to work on it? or Have you include in your future plans.
