Updates and some plugins disconnect?

I've been poking around for this, so please excuse me if I missed the memo.

But... a couple of the plugins seem to have a disconnect.

For example:

• The dataquery plugin is indicating that there is an update available, yet I don't seem to be able to find it in the downloads section here.
  
• There is a new Reportit version available, but it isn't listed in the updates as having a new version available.
  

Can someone point me to the memo that I appear to have missed?
