Hello,

I would like to install NPC !

I worked on Redhat 5 (php-5.1.6-23.el5 and Mysql-5.0.45-7.el5).
I installed Nagios 3.0, Centreon 1.4.7, NDOutils-1.4b7 and Cacti-0.8.7b.

I need help to install Nagios Plugin for Cacti (NPC) !!
I try to install NPC but it doesn't work :

Hi, I am not sure, I am writting to the right guy but here is my problem. I am currently working for a company and I installed nagios 3.0 and cacti seperately. both work fine independently. The thing is I am trying to integrate nagios in cacti and I installed the NPC plugin as mentionned in the documentation (I unzipped the archive in the plugin directory and added this line in the global.php file: $plugins[]='npc'). Unfortunately, in user management nothing regarding npc is showing up and neither a tab called npc is available. Did I miss something ? IS there something to do ? Thanks.

If that doesn't work, check the permissions on the plugin's directory to make sure the web server can access it.

I checked directory rights and your plugin tips but the problem is there is nothing showing up regarding a link on the left sidebar called 'Plugin Management'. Moreover NPC plugin seems to be present on the system because I can see it only with the update plugin.

I posted a ticket in trac2.assembla.com website and here is his answer:

Plugins are not installed by adding $plugins[]='npc' anymore. You need to use the Plugin Management link in the Cacti UI.

My first question is how do I get the Plugin Management Link in the cacti UI ?

My second question is if I installed the plugin the wrong way what is the right one ?

By the way, I installled Nagios 3.0, Centreon 1.4.7, NDOutils-1.4b7 and Cacti-0.8.7d
