These are currently in beta, so the full documentation is still forthcoming (Thanks PsybeR!!!).
For the Discovery Plugin, if you could add a host, it wouldn't be discovery. Instead goto
Console >> Settings >> Misc
and add a subnet for it to scan. You can currently use this format
192.168.0.*
I am currently working on adding formats like (192.168.0.0/16 and 192.168.0.1-192.168.2.254) but that isn't working yet.
For the Ntop Plugin. All it does is load your NTop in an IFrame. I use this on the Cacti CD. I have now added the option to change the URL, you will find it on the same settings tab as the Discovery options.
