 Template Propagation-Threshold
Good Day,
I am a new user and also new to this forum. I am trying to set up a low threshold value for some access SHDSL devices that we do not have any management over. However we can see the traffic on the Switch port their Ethernet ports are connected to. As a result we are able to set up manually a Low Threshold value under Thresholds and if we lose communication to these devices it breaches this value and an email sent. This works beautifully. What we are trying to do now is set this up using it as a template under threshold templates. When the template is created, we go to threshold under management and there are no templates listed. When we go to a device and then a particular graph to create the threshold, the template propagation box is greyed out. When we save a manual threshold level, the box becomes accessible however when checked and saved, the page refreshes and returns with the box unchecked. Can anyone give me any clarification into what is happening and whether or not I am setting this up correctly. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

 Re: Template Propagation-Threshold
You need to delete your current threshold. Then goto templates, and create a template for traffic based graphs. Then goto the device/datasource/graph (there are several ways of doing it) and create a threshold for this graph using the wizard, which allows you to select the template you created.
