Post Can CACTI alarm by sound?
hi all,

i'm very longing for the function of sound alarm, could anybody help me to solve the problem, give CACTI the power!!! :P

The Monitor pligin supports sound alerts when a monitored host goes down. See the documentation here:

thanks for your quick reply, psyber! but what i mean is when the value exceed the threshold, and then the sound could begin to alarm, maybe it could be added to the new version of the thold plugin, or you may give me another way.
