Post Save Failed
I just fresh install the 0.8.7e onto 9.10 Ubuntu Desktop. The install was successful. However, when i added the plugins (discovery, flowview, monitor, realtime and thold) I started having issues. When adding devices from Discovery tab, it indicates "Save Failed". Here is the log file
Code:
02/09/2010 10:05:03 AM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] ERROR: A DB Exec Failed!, Error:'1050', SQL:"CREATE TABLE plugin_discover_template ( id int(8) NOT NULL auto_increment, host_template int(8) NOT NULL default '0', tree int(12) NOT NULL default '0', snmp_version tinyint(3) NOT NULL default '0', sysdescr varchar(255) NOT NULL default '', PRIMARY KEY (id) ) TYPE=MyISAM;'
02/09/2010 10:05:03 AM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] ERROR: A DB Exec Failed!, Error:'1050', SQL:"CREATE TABLE `plugin_discover_hosts` ( `hostname` varchar(100) NOT NULL default '', `ip` varchar(17) NOT NULL default '', `hash` varchar(12) NOT NULL default '', `community` varchar(100) NOT NULL default '', `snmp_version` varchar(3) NOT NULL default '', `snmp_username` varchar(64) NOT NULL default '', `snmp_password` varchar(256) NOT NULL default '', `snmp_auth_protocol` varchar(6) NOT NULL default '', `snmp_priv_passphrase` varchar(256) NOT NULL default '', `snmp_priv_protocol` varchar(12) NOT NULL default '', `snmp_context` varchar(256) NOT NULL default '', `sysName` varchar(100) NOT NULL default '', `sysLocation` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '', `sysContact` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '', `sysDescr` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '', `sysUptime` int(32) NOT NULL default '0', `os` varchar(64) NOT NULL default '', `snmp` tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '0', `known` tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '0', `up` tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '0', `time` int(11) NOT NULL default '0', PRIMARY KEY (`ip`), KEY `snmp` (`snmp`), KEY `os` (`os`), KEY `known` (`known`), KEY `hash` (`hash`), KEY `up` (`up`), KEY `hostname` (`hostname`) ) TYPE=MyISAM;'

What i did was, stripped one plugin at a time and see if it would start working again. The result was, all plugins worked expect when i turned on Monitor plugin. Does anyone else have the issue?

You running mysql in strict mode? If so, its not allowing the monitor plugin to add its column to the host table.
