I have a working install of cacti 8.6h-06 running on Fedora Core 4. Several weeks ago a contractor got on the wrong host and reinstalled httpd and several other packages, completely hosing cacti. (Needless to say it won't happen again.)

After a few hours of work I got everything straightened out, except for one perplexing problem. When I add a new device, add it to the tree, create graphs etc, the graphs show up in list and preview views but not in the tree view. The host is there, but no graphs are rendered when the host is selected.

I would appreciate any help anyone might offer. I can still get accurate graphs through the other two modes, but the tree view is really convenient.

This is all I get when I click on the new hosts. The graph view page renders, but obviously with no content.

I had the same problem on a new install. This is what worked for me:
Under console click "Graph Trees". Click the tree that is not graphing. click each Host that is not graphing and click "Save" (no need to change anything).

The graphs started showing up in tree view right after i did that.
