Im doing exactly what the report plugin does, external from cacti with
an rrdtool script to send reports on sundays .. If you could expand
the schedule to day-of week, Id be able to leave the shell scripts
behind..

I'm about 70% done with the expanded scheduler. It allows you to select daily, weekly, monthly, and even "one time" reports. For the most part, it has most everything that the Windows Task Scheduler has, so its should appease everyone.

I'm actually waiting on this guys report add-on to be completed since he is a little further on certain things than I am. PDF generation, adding text, html, etc...

I see no reason to make two competing plugins, so once his is nearly done, I will just see about converting it to a plugin for him (maybe even now while its in beta)
